It is true what they say – the days are long and the years are short.

Your family is beautiful and spunky and colorful and delightful - and years from now you are going to want to remember just how in love you really were with each other. How rosy your baby’s cheeks were, the white blonde surfer streaks in your daughter’s hair, and when your kindergartener looked like a jack o’ lantern.

You are going to want to remember what your husband saw when you walked down the aisle towards him. And what your newborn baby looked like in his arms. You are going to want to sit on the porch when your children have their own families and flip through your photo albums and remember what they were like when they could fit on your lap.

How do I know this? Because it’s exactly what I want.

I love my family so much it hurts sometimes. I cherish my pictures of them more than anything in this whole entire world. Especially the ones with scabbed knees, braided pigtails and with them in their favorite t-shirt (the one with the dinosaur on it that they wear on repeat for an entire year.) Mine are now big kids - and let me tell you, you blink and they become BIG. Seemingly overnight. They weren’t kidding when they said that the days feel long, and the years short.

Let’s capture your beautiful life together.
