A beautiful Columbus Day wedding. Hurricane Matthew couldn’t put a damper on Shannon and Forrest’s BEST. DAY. EVER. at Popponesset Inn in New Seabury, MA.
Even Hurricane Matthew couldn’t put a damper on Shannon and Forrest’s BEST. DAY. EVER. Sure, there was a lot of rain, but I don’t think that anyone noticed. The whole day was full of love, laughter, and happy tears. Which is what a wedding day is all about, right?
I met Shannon and Forrest at the end of summer and spent an evening getting to know them walking around Beacon Hill. Within minutes, I knew that this wedding day was going to be nothing short of beautiful, and would be just as relaxed as they are. Their friends and family are about the nicest people ever and you really could feel how happy everyone in the room was.
The rain never let up (not even for a minute) but it did not phase the bride and groom in the least. (They win the award for best attitudes on a wedding day. They were such good sports about it.) The Popponesset Inn was a perfect venue for a Columbus Day weekend wedding. The room was gorgeous and everything was perfect. Shannon designed the floral arrangements and they could not have been more beautiful. There were lots of personal touches and a doughnut bar for dessert. You can never go wrong with a doughnut! The band was incredible and had everyone out on the dance floor all night long. It really was the best day EVER!
Here is to many, many, years of happiness Shannon and Forrest. It was an honor to be a part of your wedding day.
