![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This sweet couple won me in a Silent Auction for Town and Country Lutheran School. I thought that they would want a family session, but it turns out that they are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary and wanted some pictures of just the two of them. It made my heart melt a little. As soon as they got out of the car, they held hands, and did not let go until they got back into the car. Sweet, sweet, sweet. After 50 years, 4 children, countless moves, they are still in as much love as they were the 1st year. They are inspiring…
![]() ![]() We spent the long weekend in Monterey… can I say how beautiful this place is? How nice is was to be near the water? How much fun we had? I’ll let the pictures do the talking. We were incredibly lucky and fortunate to be able to spend one night at the Pebble Beach Resort. I have been to many amazing hotels and this one takes the cake. I have never experienced this level of service before… incredible. They even had toiletries for the baby!!! AMAZING!

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I am in love. With Nick. Nick the Nikon. I got a new camera ( a D700 for my camera geek friends reading this) the other day and I am completely in love with it. Nothing annoys a photographer more than to hear someone say, “wow, your camera really takes great pictures”. It is not the camera, it is the person that is taking the photos that make the photo great. You can give two people the same exact camera and have them shoot the same exact thing and chances are one will come out with amazing photos and the other well, not so much. You need to have an eye, plain and simple. That being said, a good camera definetly does not hurt. I love my Fuji. She has been really good to me and given me some pictures of my children and others that I will treasure always. But Nick… how nice is it to see your full frame, your gorgeous skin tones, and vibrant Nikon color… your bells and whistles do not go unappreciated by me. I can’t wait to get to know you and become even better friends. P.S. Yes, I know that I am crazy. I name all of my cameras and yes, I treat them as if they are people.
