Monthly Archives: March 2009well… maybe not having to clean it up!!! Daddy gave Clay his first cupcake last night. Let’s just say, that he enjoys the cupcake just as much as his mommy does. And yes, Daddy cleaned up the mess.
 Jeez… I have been really busy the past few days. I really do try to get my camera out every day and shoot. But this week has been nutty and it is only Wednesday! Last weekend I had the pleasure of being the photographer for the city of Cameron Park as they opened their new Community Center. It was very moving to watch a group of people come together with an idea and watch it come to fruition years later. This project has been in the works since the mid 90′s! The community came out to welcome it’s new place to take classes, senior center, swimming pool, and be together. They even braved very cold temps and A LOT of rain.  I had to come back a few days later to get the shots for the city's website. I did all of the updated pictures, but the weather was not cooperating the day that I was up there. So my 3 little assistants came with me and we made an afternoon out of it. Cameron Park has some great playgrounds!  This couple was so adorable. The band was playing outside of the center and they hopped off of their bikes and started dancing. How cute is that?  I could not resist.... I am a child photographer after all. He and his grandmother got to cut the ribbon in the ribbon cutting ceremony.
    We ventured up to Daffodil Hill today. It is beautiful, but we should have waited until it was more in bloom….
