I love newborns. I love the smell. I love the cuddling. I love the coos. I love everything about newborns. This one was no exception. Sweet as can be and his parents are pretty awesome too.

    Such a cute and sweet baby. I love my job.
  When I say “don’t jump on the bed, you will hurt yourselves and crack your head open” I know that the possibility of this occurring is rare. But a few nights ago it really happened. Clay and the big kids were playing around and he managed to jump off of the bed and whack his head hard enough to warrant 7 stitches. 7 stitches in a baby head is a lot of stitches. Meet Franken-baby.
 My best friend in the entire world just had her third baby girl. Jacqueline is one of the most gorgeous newborns I have ever seen. She has these petite little features and gorgeous coloring and perfect baby skin. I loved spending time with a newborn again. It didn’t make me want another one though! She is such a good baby. I have never really had the pleasure of having to wake a newborn to eat before. This girl loves to sleep. Lucky mom and dad. I had such a great time in Ohio. The people of the midwest are truly the nicest people around. I just wished that we lived closer. Hopefully one day soon. I love you k+j!
