Life through the lens of an iphone

I love the ease of taking pictures with my iphone.  I always have it on me and I tend to take more pictures these days with my iphone than my real camera.  Some of my absolute favorite pictures ever of my children were taken with my iphone.  This is what my life looks like through the lens of my iphone.

I use this app for the pictures and this little piece of collage making heaven for the collages.

Happy Easter

The eggs are dyed.  The Easter Bunny has been here.  The treats are made for our Easter brunch with friends.  It has been a great Easter already and it isn’t even here yet.

Happy Easter.

Love,

Valentine’s Day and Happy New Year to you.

We had a very nice, relaxing Valentine’s Day this year.  It was spent in our jammies, watching a very long race (didn’t football season JUST end?), making and eating yummy treats, and celebrating Chinese New Year.  It is was a busy day indeed.  Will had been learning all about China in school this week so we decided to make shrimp dumpling and scallion pancakes for dinner.  I am not sure which was better, having the kids make them with me or eating them.  They were really good.  Seriously good.  Wes doesn’t even like Chinese food and he asked me to make them again. I hope that your Valentine’s Day and Chinese New Year was as wonderful as ours was.

I love you too.

Sometimes the artwork that comes home from school is so cute that it deserves a picture too.

Have a ball this Valentine’s Day

I cannot take credit for this adorable creation.  I was on Dandee’s blog and completely feel in love with this idea.  I had been looking all around for a cute boy Valentine.  Preferably one that did not have a Transformer or Batman on it.  And there it was.  Exactly what I was looking for.  Something easy, something quick, and something inexpensive.  Thanks Dandee!

Here is a link to a PDF of the labels in case you would like to make one too.
