I love newborns. I love the smell. I love the cuddling. I love the coos. I love everything about newborns. This one was no exception. Sweet as can be and his parents are pretty awesome too.

Category Archives: newbornsMy best friend in the entire world just had her third baby girl. Jacqueline is one of the most gorgeous newborns I have ever seen. She has these petite little features and gorgeous coloring and perfect baby skin. I loved spending time with a newborn again. It didn’t make me want another one though! She is such a good baby. I have never really had the pleasure of having to wake a newborn to eat before. This girl loves to sleep. Lucky mom and dad. I had such a great time in Ohio. The people of the midwest are truly the nicest people around. I just wished that we lived closer. Hopefully one day soon. I love you k+j!
        I have been quiet the last few days. I went to see my best friend in the whole entire world. She lives in Cleveland. She happens to have the cutest newborn on the planet. (Next to my newborns of course.) But I am tired. And I am jet lagged. And I promise to show her gorgeous little face to you tomorrow. In the meantime I am posting a very rare picture of myself on this here ol’ blog. P.S. How unfair is it that she looks this beautiful 9 days after giving birth??? I still love her despite this.
 These people are all over this blog. I take a monthly picture of Matthew and it is the highlight of my month. I love these people. Truly, they are the kind of friends that one dreams to have. A few weeks ago, when our lives were all over the place Corey was the first one to call me and see how I was doing and what I needed. I was complaining about having nothing to wear to memorials and such and lo and behold the next day she showed up on my doorstep with options for me to wear. It was one less thing for me to worry about and it something that a TRUE friend would do for another. On the day of this session, we met at a local park and they came prepared! Blankets, clothing options, you name it. They also came in a great mood and we were having so much fun that it really shows in these pictures and I am proud of them. They show how happy they are. How much they love their children and the connection that they have. I am always in awe of these two people. I have never in my life seen two people with such patience and respect for their children. I look up to them as parents and hope that someday I will be graced with the patience that they both have. Not to mention their ability to whip out a blue guitar and rock out. Really, they could be the next Partridge family. Or the new Wiggles. Hmm….
