Mama’s Boy

I had all of my studio stuff set up so I figured I would put it to good use.  There were so many cute ones that I couldn’t narrow it down so I posted them all.  If you look through the gallery you see what a mini-shoot with all three of them really looks like.

Photographer friends – I edited these with the new TRA Lightroom Presets.  They are amazing!  This was made with Boogie Nights Lite and Golden Ages Lite.

Seesaw

I am trying to share more.  I am learning that it is okay to put out there to the world pictures that I love that are not worthy of being shared on a photography blog.  This picture is grainy (it was taken with my point and shoot, practically in the dark) and out of focus.  You know what, that is OKAY.  I love this picture because it is of a little boy that I happen to think is adorable and look how happy he is to be seesawing.  My little-late-in-the-game 2010 resoultion…. embrace my imperfections.  All of them.

Boys will be boys

It was a nice day and we had yard work to do.  By we, I mean my husband.  The kids brought all of the toys from the garage out into the driveway.   Will’s most prized possession is his Power Wheel.  He is not thrilled about Clay’s interest in it.  It is like a moth to a flame.  Clay sees the Power Wheel parked in the garage and he runs over to it, gets in, and tries to drive it out.  But he knows that he has to share and that means that he has to drive Clay around in it when we are playing with it.  When Clay first started riding in it, Will was sensitive to the fact that he is a baby was drove cautiously.  That is no longer the case.  He whips in out of the driveway, takes really fast turns and Clay could not be any happier.  Well, maybe if Will let him drive.

This next set, I love.  I know that they are out of focus and I don’t even care for a second.  It is him and I love how much fun you can tell that he is having in them.

Like the boogers?  Or the lunch that is left on his face?  Me too.  I love it.  This is so HIM.

I crack myself up.

How funny is it that he the same expression as his shirt?

Under Construction…

Please excuse the appearance of my blog and website.  I am in the process of making some changes to all of my “places” and it will take a day or two to get one cohesive look.

Well Bree, your previous look was adorable, why would you want to change it?  Good question.  Because it was not “me”.  It does not reflect my personality or how I want my business to be portrayed.  I like clean, modern and simple.  I like my pictures to do the talking.  I love white.  I love calm and I really love peaceful.  I decided that it was time to change it up.

When it is all said and done, do me a favor, tell me what you think…

Because posts are lonely without pictures here are a few outtakes from my Christmas card picture shoot.  I have never been more proud of my children.  Our shoot was 12 minutes from first frame to last and they were AWESOME!  I got a ton of cute ones and all it cost me was a trip to Big Spoon.
