        What do you do when someone that you love and have known forever asks you to document one of the biggest days of their lives? You wipe away the tears because you are so honored that they asked you, and then you panic for the next 4 months wondering if you will do a good enough job! I was so lucky to be a part of Stacy and Andrew’s wedding day. The venue was perfect. So perfect in fact, that Turnbull Mansion is used as a backdrop for the show Army Wives. The food, utterly AMAZING. The people at Fork did such an incredible job. I wonder if they will share their shrimp and grits recipe? It was the best I have ever had. The flowers, breathtaking. Laura at A Bella Bouquet outdid herself. Her staff was wonderful to work with as well. The cake, throwdown-worthy. Peninsula Grill Coconut Cake is a divine being. The band, the Travis Allison Band was lively and kept everyone on their feet all night. It was a beautiful day, a beautiful weekend, and a beautiful bride. The groom wasn’t so bad either. Stacy and Andrew, I wish you both all of the happiness in the World and a lifetime of love and laughter. I cannot wait to document other big events in your life. No pressure or anything.  Why so serious? Taking the pulse of my 4 year old daughter. 1. What is you favorite food? “Peas.” (I have a hard time believing this one.) 2. What do you want to be when you grow up? “Hanna Montana” (Don’t we all?) 3. What is your favorite color? “Pink. No, I changed my mind it is purple.” 4. What is your favorite thing to play? “Do art projects with you Mommy.” 5. What is your favorite restaurant? “Mr. Adam’s restaurant.” (Pronto for those you that do not know what Mr. Adam’s restaurant is.) Here is a few other things about my Ava that you might not know…. - she eats nothing. We joke that she could never do Atkins because she ONLY eats carbs. - she is an artist. Her absolute favorite activity is to color and paint and make things. If given the choice to do anything, she would pick coloring. - she has a hot little temper - she is quite the singer and dancer. She really is into Lady Gaga right now and has some serious moves to go along with “Paparrazzi”. Before she really was into Gwen Stefani. - she loves her brothers very much. - she is the best cuddler in the world. - she really likes to have her picture taken these days but makes this horrible scrunchy face and it is hard to get her to look normal. - she has the prettiest little face… it saves her a lot of the time. - we love her very much.
