I’m not sure if I’ve ever worked with such a peaceful and well behaved newborn. Ever. Rosie was the most chill, sweet, cuddly, and not to mention beautiful baby to take pictures of. Rosie has a big brother that I also took newborn pictures of (not even 18 months ago!) and we recreated many of the same shots. They look so alike, that it is hard to tell which baby is which.
I also happen to adore Rosie’s mom. It’s funny, the blog world is a really weird place. You often make connections with people – yet never meet in real life. Some of these friendships are the most true and real ones I have. I “met” Alison a few years ago and when I moved to the Cape, we got to be friends in person. I’m so thankful to have her in my life. She is a delightful person, an amazing mother, and I’m so happy that our paths crossed. (And Ali – get used to pink, you can’t fight it, no matter how hard you try.)
Thank you for spending the afternoon with me catching up and letting me get my newborn fix. I love you guys. Next time we’ll let the boys play.
